NORTH CANTON, OH - The Walsh University volleyball team opened up their first weekend of conference play with a pair of wins. The Cavs pulled off two 3-0 sweeps against Ursuline and Lake Erie with an impressive 0.313 hitting percentage and 19 aces. This moves them to 2-0 in the conference, giving them momentum for their match on Friday against Malone University.

GAME 1 FOR THE CAVS  
• Sammie DiBease led offensively with 10 kills and also contributed 2 aces. 
• Grace Mazzacco led the net with 5 blocks.  
• AJ Burick orchestrated the offense with 14 assists.  
• Locie Levengood defended the court with 10 digs and an impressive 4 aces. 

 
GAME 2 FOR THE CAVS  
• Kameron Stover led offensively with 11 kills and contributed 3 digs. 
• Brynn Egbert defended the net with 3 blocks and led the Cavs in aces with 4.  
• Morgan Hornaday set up the offense with 17 assists.   
• Locie Levengood led in digs  with 13 and contributed 5 assists. 

 
The Maroon and Gold will face Malone University on Friday, September 26th at 7:00 pm in Canton, OH.
