NORTH CANTON, OH: The Maroon and Gold kicked off their 2025 campaign with a 5-1 win over the visiting Daemen Wildcats. The Wildcats opened up scoring in the first minute of the game. The Cavs were quick to respond just thirteen minutes later when Junior, Noah Huda, scored Walsh's first goal of the season. Evan Napier scored in the 25th minute to give the Cavs the lead which they held onto going into the second half. The Cavs picked up right where they left off, scoring wise, through a Henry Noon goal in the 53rd minute, making it 3-1 Cavs. Freshman, forward, Stefan Velickovic and Senior, Alvaro Gidron added goals four and five for the Cavs to finish out the game. Bobby Moore, Gabe Anderson, and Noah Huda each notched an assist in tonight's match. The Cavs are back in action on Saturday, September 6th, at 1 P.M. when they take on the Robert Wesleyan Redhawks at Larry Staudt Field.
