NORTH CANTON, OH: The 4th game this week resulted in a victory for the Walsh Men's Basketball program as they defeated the Tiffin Dragons, 82-70. This also was the Cavs first game inside Alumni Arena since 12/30. A strong first helped seal the win for the Maroon and Gold despite the Dragons out performing Walsh in the second half by a score of 46-40.
Both teams stat sheets looked very similar as both teams shot 50% from the field and made six threes total. The overall difference was the free throw line. Walsh made it there 27 times compared to Tiffin's 9. Another difference was the Cav's depth with Walsh scoring 24 bench points to the Dragon's 15.
The victory moves the Cavaliers to 12-2 and 6-2 in the G-MAC. Their next contest will be Wednesday when they welcome Great Lakes Christian to campus.
