ASHLAND, OH: The Ashland Invitational was hosted this past weekend at the Niss Athletic Center. The second meet back from the holiday break, the Maroon and Gold of Cavalier Track and Field looked to continue their season by seeing continued improvements.
Brody Pumneo, reigning G-MAC Champion, hit his first NCAA provisional mark of the season in the 800m. His time of 1:51.48 was good for 3rd place in the event.
Tatum Miller hit another NCAA provisional mark in the weight throw. Her throw was 17.57m. She currently is 11th in NCAA DII with her throw from the Akron Invitational in December.
Walsh will head to Muskingum University this Saturday for the Muskie Meet.
