HILLSDALE, MI:
Kiley Dyrlund continued her stellar play last night, nearly having a triple double against the Hillsdale Chargers. The Cavaliers traveled back to Michigan where they have played four straight contests in the state. After a strong start, especially on defense, Walsh got the Michigan chill in the second quarter, being outscored 15-6. Despite playing the contest even down the final stretch, the Maroon and Gold could never quite get on a run to overcome the deficit.
The Cavaliers made no three's in the first half and had no points from the bench all game. The Women did control the turnover game forcing 23 Charger turnovers to Walsh's 15.
The Walsh Women will continue this busy week on the road, at Cedarville, on 1/8.
