CEDARVILLE, OH: Walsh Men's Basketball cruised to their 5th conference win on Thursday night as their busy week continued at Cedarville. The third game of four this week saw a steady attack with three Cavs in double figures and a consistent rebounding effort down the roster.
The Maroon and Gold battled with the Yellow Jackets for about 18 minutes. Each squad only had about a buckets lead until
Zack Oddo,
Kobe Mitchell, and
Brayden Gross connected on key buckets to give the visitors an eight point edge, the biggest lead through 20 minutes.
The first half momentum continued for the Cavs as the second half began. Cedarville attempted to hang around but Walsh seemed to respond each time. Consistently up by ten to twelve points, by the time the final buzzer went off, the Maroon and Gold built the lead to 16, winning 72-56.
The mid-season road trip has officially ended as the Men will return to Alumni Arena, on Saturday, when they will welcome the Tiffin Dragons at 3pm.
