NORTH CANTON, OH: Walsh Women's Basketball earned their 2nd straight win in dominant fashion on Thursday night. They defeated the visiting Lake Erie College Storm in a lopsided way, 88-44, inside Alumni Arena.
The Women started the game on a 26-0 run, taking all of the life out of the Storm from the very beginning. With just 3 seconds left in the first quarter, the visitors found their first points on a pair of free throws. The Cavs forced 14 turnovers in the opening period.
The Cavaliers maintained their strong lead for the rest of the contest. The Women shot 52.4% from the floor in the win. 4 Cavs finished in double digits on the offensive side on the way to the teams 12th win of the year.
Walsh will be back on the court on Saturday, for a 1pm tip off, vs Northwood.
