MELBOURNE, FL, WHEELING, WV, AND NORTH CANTON, OH: The first month of softball season had flown by for Walsh Softball as they have played 20 games this season. The first pitch of the season was at the Space Coast Spring Games over Spring Break on March 1st. At the week long event, Walsh played 12 games before returning back to North Canton. Once returned, the team swept Wheeling University and split with Point Park before G-MAC play began on March 21st. In the two conference series so far, Walsh sits at 0-4. Overall, the Cavs are 7-13.
The Cavs will return to the field for more G-MAC play this weekend, on the road. On Saturday, 3/28, Walsh will face Kentucky Wesleyan and on Sunday the 29th, they will face Thomas More.

- Sydney Cottrell hit two home runs with 4 RBI's.
