OWENSBORO AND CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY: Four road games equaled four wins for Walsh Softball this weekend as they swept both Kentucky Wesleyan and Thomas More in Great Midwest play. The bats were on fire for the Maroon and Gold as they outscored their opponents, 41-6. Maddie Burge and Danielle Lude shined in the batters box all weekend while Freshman pitcher, Gauri Naik was dominant in the circle allowing 0.00 earned runs across 6 innings pitched. The Women are now 4-4 in the G-MAC and 11-13 overall. 

Another conference doubleheader is on the schedule for Wednesday, April 1st at Lake Erie College. 

GAME 1 VS KWC, SCORE: WU 11 - KWC 0

• Lindsey Leeds was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI's. She also earned the win in the circle. 
• Lindsey Bingham and Maddie Burge each had 2 hits and 2 RBI's.
• Danielle Lude was 1 for 1 with 2 RBI's and 2 walks.

GAME 2 VS KWC, SCORE: WU 11 - KWC 2

• Hope Barrett was 3 for 4 with 6 RBI's.
• Lindsey Leeds, Maddie Burge, and Ava Littin each had 2 hits.
• Katie Gardner earned the win, giving up just 3 hits in 4.1 innings.

GAME 1 VS TMU, SCORE: WU 7 - TMU 4

• Down 4-2 in the 5th, the Cavs scored 2 runs in the 5th and 3 in the 7th to earn the win. 
• Maddie Burge led the team going 3 for 4.
• Lindsey Bingham, Lindsey Leeds, Maci Smythe, and Danielle Lude each had 2 hits. 
• Maci Smythe struck out 4 in the win. 

GAME 2 VS TMU, SCORE: WU 12 - TMU 0

• Gauri Naik fanned 9 batters in 5 innings, allowing 1 hit. 
• Maddie Burge and Sydney Cottrell each had 3 RBI's.
• Leah Musall was 3 for 4 while Danielle Lude was 3 for 3.
