CARY, NC, TIFFIN, OH, SLIPPERY ROCK, PA, AND NORTH CANTON, OH: The month of March has been a busy one for Walsh Cavalier Baseball as they started the month in North Carolina and have since then played two G-MAC series. With only one cancellation so far, due to weather, the Men have an overall record of 8-13 and 3-5 in conference play. Through the first part of the season, Senior, Pitcher,
Ryan Chambers has had a strong presence on the bump for Walsh. In 5 appearances he has a 3.08 ERA and has struck out 22 batters. He had been named conference Athlete of the Week once along with teammates
Brodey Acres and
Ryan Bruni.
Great Midwest play continues for the Maroon and Gold this weekend as they will travel to Painesville to take on Lake Erie College on 3/28 and 3/29.
VS CHOWAN, WU 23 - CU 1
- Walsh dominated Chowan in the first game of the North Carolina trip. Walsh out hit CU 19-5.
- The Cavs scored 17 runs in 3 innings.
- Chris Kramer was 4 for 5 with 5 RBI's, a walk, and a home run.

- In a back and fourth game, Walsh scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th to get the game four win.
- In the 9th, a Brodey Acres home run, an Eli Sutton RBI single, and a Josh Algarin RBI single set Bryce Broom up to score the winning run.
- Broom reached on an error by the AU third basemen getting in the go ahead run. Broom was 2 for 5 with 3 RBI's
- Mason Stoldt was 3 for 5.
- Chris Kramer and Eli Sutton each had 2 RBI's.
