PAINESVILLE AND NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Softball Complex has been busy lately as the Cavaliers have hosted their past three of four G-MAC opponents. After splitting with Lake Erie on the road, the Maroon and Gold hosted Northwood, Ursuline, and Cedarville. The most recent eight games have been nail biters for the Cavalier faithful as 4 of the 8 have been within one run while two games went to extra innings.
Going 2-6 overall, the Cavs will look to bounce back against rival, Malone, on Friday afternoon. The home doubleheader is set to start at 2pm.
GAME 1 VS LAKE ERIE, SCORE: WU 8 - LEC 1
- Strong 5th and 7th innings opened up the game for Walsh.
- Sydney Cottrell was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and a home run.
- Lindsay Leeds had 3 RBI's.
- Maci Smythe earned the win in the circle while also producing on offense. She had 3 RBI's with a home run and a double.
GAME 2 VS LAKE ERIE, SCORE: LEC 5 - WU 4 (9 INNINGS)
GAME 1 VS NORTHWOOD, SCORE: NU 3 - WU 1
GAME 2 VS NORTHWOOD, SCORE NU 4 - WU 0 (8 INNINGS)
- The score was knotted up at 0 until the Timberwolves broke the game open, scoring 4 runs during the top of the 8th.
- Ava Littin was 1 for 3 with a double.
GAME 1 VS URSULINE, SCORE: UC 4 - WU 3
- Leah Musall was 3 for 4 with an RBI.
- Lindsay Bingham was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's.
GAME 2 VS URSULINE, SCORE: WU 8 - UC 4
- Ursuline took a commanding 4-1 lead until Walsh exploded for 5 runs in the bottom of the 3rd and added 2 more security runs in the 5th.
- Katie Gardner got the win. She scattered 3 hits across 4.2 innings.
- 5 Cavs had two hits with Laney Ferrance and Leah Musall leading the way with 2 RBI's each.

- Lindsay Bingham had 2 RBI's.
GAME 2 VS CEDARVILLE, SCORE: CU 2 - WU 1
