FLORENCE, IN: Walsh Men's and Women's Golf competed in the Belterra Classic this past week at the Belterra Golf Club. Ahead of the conference tournament in late April, the Cavs got to see the golf course they will be playing in Belterra. In the best conditions since Florida in early March, both teams finished in the middle of the pack with the Women finishing 3rd out of 8 and the Men finishing 5th out of 10. 

Sydney Hugo finished 2nd overall for the Women while Matt Stephan led the Men finishing 20th. 

The Women will take the first tee next as they play in a co-hosted event with Walsh and Tiffin on April 10th in Lima, Ohio. The Men's next tournament will be the G-MAC Tournament on 4/20 - 4/22. 

FOR THE WOMEN
SCORES: 318, 318, 326

• Sydney Hugo's runner up finish came on rounds of 77, 73, and 75. She was five shots out of 1st place. 
• Ashlee Garner (82, 80, 79) and Gabriella Berlingieri (80, 79, 86) were the next top finishers for the Cavs finishing 13th and 15th.

FOR THE MEN
SCORES: 301, 301, 305

• Finishing 20th, Matt Stephan fired rounds of 74, 73, 76. 
• Blake Hood (76, 75, 74) and Brogan Sullivan (74, 75, 77)  were right behind finishing 22nd and 23rd respectively.
