CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY: Despite the Thomas More Saints striking first, Walsh Men's Lacrosse responded quickly, scoring 5 straight to take a lead that they never lost. This quick, responsive effort earned the Cavs their third straight win, 6th overall conference win, and got the team to 7-7. Despite many injuries and adversity, the Men are clicking at the right time as a big match up vs Wheeling is in view.
The 20-8 win over Thomas More was essentially secured by halftime as Walsh built a 11-4 lead. The Cavs paced the entire game taking 55 shots with 36 being on goal, scooping 44 ground balls, and causing 17 turnovers.
The last home game of the regular season is set to be a big one as Walsh will welcome Wheeling on Saturday, April 18th, at 4pm. Future conference seeding implications will be on the line.
