SELINSGROVE AND LEWISBURG, PA & AKRON, OH: Walsh Track and Field was spread out this past weekend. With most Cavaliers at the Northeast Ohio Open at the University of Akron, the distance runners were at Bucknell while multi's were at Susquehanna University. Joel Brown, the NCAA DII Runner Up in the Heptathlon, had a great weekend competing in the Decathlon. Last season, Brown won the event at the G-MAC Championship Meet and qualified for Nationals. Brown is already on that trajectory as he broke the school record and G-MAC record in the Decathlon this weekend scoring 7077. This score sits at 6th best in DII. 

Brown and the rest of the Cavs will be back on the track this weekend at the Baldwin Wallace Sparky Adams Meet in Berea, OH.

AT SUSQUEHANNA

• Joel Brown had a record score of 7077 which earned him 2nd in the event to an athlete from Duquesne. Brown is 6th in DII.

AT BUCKNELL

• Lukas Keverkamp placed 15th in the 3000m Steeplechase. 
• Bailey Menegay was 22nd in the Women's 3000m Steeplechase.

AT AKRON

• Kyla Miller won the 100m hurdles. Kendra Berger took 2nd.
• Hannah and Katie Ison were 4th and 5th in the 1500m.
• Maddie Swartz finished 3rd in the Hammer with a throw of 52.68m. 
• Mackenzie Cutlip was 2nd in the Javelin, throwing 38.42m.
• Carter Basham placed 5th in the 200m, 
• Griffin Littler won the 5000m with a time of 15:30.73.
• Kayden Schoelles earned 2nd in the 1500m.
• Grasyn Rettig was 3rd in the 3000m Steeplechase.
