EMPORIA, KS: The NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field National Championships has come to a close marking the end of the 2026 campaign. Cavaliers,
Joel Brown and
Tatum Miller had the honor to compete at the meet among some of the best athletes in DII. Heading to Emporia, Brown and Miller hoped to use their Indoor National Championship experience to propel them to success.
Competing in the Decathlon,
Joel Brown continued his dominance on the National stage. He finished 4th overall, scoring 7201 points. That score is a new school record and comes after he set the previous record back in March. The 4th place finish earned him All-American First Team.
Tatum Miller finished 20th in the Hammer throwing 47.84m.
