GREENSBURG, PA: The regular season wrapped up for Walsh Men's Lacrosse on Tuesday afternoon as they traveled to Seton Hill, the G-MAC leader.
The Men fell in a tough game, 16-5, taking their regular season overall record to 8-8 and 7-3 in the Great Midwest. Seton Hill blistered the Cavs with six straight goals to open up the game. After settling in to the pace, Walsh cut the deficit to four goals.
Seton Hills offensive and possession control ultimately was the difference in the defeat.
Garrett Kessling and
Holton Marshall each had two goals.
Luca Grilli had four ground balls and 2 caused turnovers.
Dylan Castiglia also had four ground balls.
Up next, Walsh will welcome the Wheeling Cardinals for the G-MAC Quarterfinal on Saturday, April 25th, at 1pm. Previously, the Cavs defeated the Cardinals, 15-6.
