CANTON, OH: It was rivalry day for Men's Lacrosse as they headed down Market Ave. to take on the Malone Pioneers in another G-MAC match up. The Cavaliers got off to a hot start scoring 9 goals in the first quarter as well as shutting out the Pioneers, taking a 9-0 lead. Scoring continued in the second quarter as the Cavs added 5 more goals, taking a 14-1 lead to halftime. The second half was 7-7 but the big Walsh lead created in the first 30 minutes was too much for Malone to overcome.
The Men will travel to Crestview Hills, KY on Saturday for a contest vs Thomas More. First face off is at 1pm.
