Box Score 2 NORTH CANTON, OH: In a doubleheader sweep of Kentucky Wesleyan on April 29th, the Walsh Cavalier Baseball program won the G-MAC South Division for the second straight year. Heading into the regular season finale, the Cavs needed to win two of the four to secure the title. On Thursday, the Maroon and Gold took care of business, beating the Panthers 7-2 and 8-1. The final two games of the series were cancelled due to rain.
With the division title, the Men earn the number two seed in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament which will be held this coming week at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio. Walsh is set to face Hillsdale College on Wednesday, May 6th at 1:15pm.
Walsh ends the regular season as the conference's best fielding team with a fielding percentage of .974.
Brodey Acres (doubles),
Mason Stoldt (home runs), and
Josh Algarin (triples) each led the G-MAC in statistical categories. The Cavs finish the regular season 24-21 overall and 19-11 in the conference.

- Brodey Acres, Eli Sutton, and Brandon Hire each had 2 hits. Acres and Sutton each went yard and totaled 3 RBI's.

- Nick Petro pitched 6.1 innings, striking out 5 and scattering 3 hits.
