INDIANAPOLIS, IN: Volleyball season is officially underway for the Cavaliers as they traveled to the University of Indianapolis last weekend. To get the season started, Walsh faced three non league opponents in U Indy, Saginaw Valley State, and West Liberty. Despite dropping the opening match to the Greyhounds, the Women bounced back to take their final two matches of opening weekend.
Sabrina Da Silva and
Izzy Shank led the Maroon and Gold in their 2-1 efforts, earning All-Tournament team. Shank totaled 41.5 points on the weekend while Da Silva had 62 digs.
The Cavaliers will be on the road once again this weekend when they travel to Frostburg State for another weekend tournament.

- Walsh dominated the match in all statistical categories outpacing the Hilltoppers 43-30 in kills, 5-1 in aces, and 7-2 in blocks.
- McKinley Reichert filled the stat sheet with 10 kills, 3 aces, and 3 blocks.
- AJ Burick and Sabrina Da Silva contined their strong play leading in assists and digs.
