FROSTBURG, MD: Cavalier Volleyball was once again on the road for their second weekend of the regular season. Playing at Frostburg State, the Women faced Shippensburg, Frostburg State, and University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. All three contests were battles and the Cavs returned to North Canton going 1-2. Sophomore Middle Blocker,
Maggie Rolwing, had a strong weekend, earning her G-MAC Athlete of the Week. In 13 sets, Rolwing recorded 43 kills on 84 attempts, 12 blocks, and 4 digs. Her performance also earned her All-Tournament team along with teammate
Sabrina Da Silva.
The Maroon and Gold enter conference play with a 3-3 record. They will be on the court, at Ursuline, on Friday. Their home opener and Senior Day will be on Saturday vs Lake Erie.
