NORTH CANTON, OH: Cavalier Volleyball fell to 5 and 4 last night as they suffered a 3 set sweep to the Fairmont State University Falcons. The Cavs have had their struggles with the Falcons over the past few years losing in 5 sets in 2024 and and 4 sets in 2023.
As the first set began on Tuesday, Alumni Arena was rocking as both teams had long, exciting rallies to get the night started. Through 13 points the match was even until Fairmont went on an 8-0 run, sucking the air from Cavalier Nation. The rest of the night stuck with the same theme, with Fairmont's domination.
The Maroon and Gold will return to G-MAC play on Saturday, as they will travel down Market Ave. to face rival, Malone.
