(HOUGHTON, Mich.) Walsh (6-2-2, 3-1-1) and Michigan Tech (6-1, 4-0) battled into the second overtime before the Huskies scored the only tally of the afternoon for a 1-0 victory in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game. For Walsh, it was their second straight overtime game. The Cavs won 4-3 at Northern Michigan on Friday. The loss was the first for the Cavs in their last seven games.

Jacqueline Mielke scored her fifth goal of the season on a header on an assist from Lexi Herrewig at 101:04.

Michigan Tech out shot the Cavs 24-6 and had nine corner kicks to Walsh's one.

The Cavs are at the University of Findlay next Sunday.
