(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) Ohio Dominican University (23-16, 14-12) took both ends of a GLIAC double header from the Cavs (17-23, 10-16) by the scores of 4-1 and 14-0. The teams complete the four games series at Walsh in another twinbill at noon tomorrow.

Panther pitching stymied the Cavs in both games. In the opener Walsh managed just four singles, with Jordan Shank (Sr., Canton, OH / GlenOak) driving in the lone run in the second inning to give the Cavs a 1-0 lead. ODU would take a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning, and then add single runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Walsh starter Matt Iosue (So., Mayfield, OH / HS) was charged with the loss and falls to 3-3. He worked 6.1 innings and allowed all four runs on eight hits.

ODU scored nine runs in the first four innings of the nightcap, highlighted by a six-run fourth. The Cavs did not break into the hit column until a fifth inning double by Luke Caple (So., Naples, FL / Gulf Coast). Caple had two of Walsh's three hits.
