Box Score NORTH CANTON, OH- The Ashland University Eagles defeated the Walsh Cavaliers Tuesday (March 23rd) in a non-conference matchup. The Cavaliers were defeated by a score of 4-1.

The Cavaliers had eight pitching changes Tuesday afternoon as they were defeated by a score of 4-1. Ashland jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first with an RBI from Garett Robberts. The Cavaliers answered with an RBI single from Brendan Spaulding, allowing Andrew Czech to score in the bottom of the first.
Pitcher Dylan Corsi retired in the top of the third as MJ Nara took the mound. The Eagles scored their second run as Seth Schroeder stole home, putting Ashland up 2-1. Walsh struggled at the plate for the remainder of the game.
Ashland extended their lead 4-1 with RBIs at the top of the 4th and 6th innings.
