ROMEOVILLE, IL AND HAMMOND, IN: The Cavalier Men's and Women's Tennis Team traveled to Lewis University and Purdue University Northwest on 2/25 and 2/26. Both teams lost to Lewis but quickly bounced back to defeat Purdue Northwest. One doubles team went undefeated all weekend. Shantala Uzcategui and Yasmina Mayer won 7-5 vs Lewis and 6-1 vs Purdue Northwest. Both teams will travel to Florida, over spring break, to compete on 3/6 and 3/8. 

 WOMEN VS LEWIS

• Score: Lewis 4 - Walsh 3
• Shantala Uzcategui, Alexa Gamborino, and Yasmina Mayer were all victorious in singles.
• Uzcategui and Mayer won doubles, 7-5. 

WOMEN VS PURDUE NORTHWEST

• Score: Walsh 4 - Purdue Northwest 3
• Shantala Uzcategui, Alexa Gamborino, Carla Padberg, and Yasmina Mayer were all victorious in singles.
• Uzcategui and Mayer capped off their undefeated weekend with a 6-1 win in doubles. 

MEN VS LEWIS

• Score: Lewis 4 - Walsh 3
• Philip Peter Carstensen and Ethan Milgan won their doubles match, 7-5.
• Alex Medina and Blas Ruiz also won doubles, 6-4. Blas and Alex were the only Cavs victorious in the singles matches.

MEN VS PURDUE NORTHWEST

• Score: Walsh 4 - Purdue Northwest 3
• Philip Peter Carstensen, Blas Ruiz, Dawson Drummond, and Alex Medina were winners in their respective singles matches.
