FAIRVIEW, PA: The Cavaliers earned a key 2nd place finish this past weekend at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic. The Women edged out Charleston by one stroke for the runner up placing. The team was once again led by star senior, Sydney Hugo with rounds of 71 and 78, good enough for a 2nd place individual finish. Two other Cavs finished in the top 10. 
Winning the event was host team, Gannon, with a two day total of +26. 

The Women will round out the fall with the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin on October 20th and 21st.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Sydney Hugo finished 2nd individually firing a -1, 71 and a 78. Her under par round consisted of an eagle, a birdie, and 2 bogies
• Sophia Rosa finished 7th with rounds of 81 and 76
• Gabriella Berlingieri fired rounds of 77 and 81, finishing 9th
• Ashlee Garner (79, 86) and Catalina Uribe (90, 87) rounded out the Walsh line up
