WOOSTER AND CINCINNATI, OH: It may have been chilly and rainy, but the dreary weather did not stop the Cavaliers as they raced in Wooster and Cincinnati this weekend.
The Cincinnati meet, The Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, saw a first place finish and NCAA Provisional mark from
Claire Rethman. She won her event with a time of 4:28.84. The Women's side also saw a first place finish for Bella Graham and a second place finish from
Alyssa Stoner, both in the 5000m. Headlining for the Men was
Micah Gremling with a 2nd place finish in the 100m.
In Wooster, Ebube Emechbe won the 100m and the 200m. Nick Gardner won the Hammer. On the Women's side,
Skye Morris won the 400m hurdles and
Kate Archer won the Pole Vault!
Walsh will look to continue this success in this weeks upcoming meets. The Cavs will be all over, competing in meets at Susquehanna, Mount Union, and Bucknell.
