BIG RAPIDS, MI: The second event of the fall season saw Walsh Women's Golf competing at the Bulldog Fall Classic, hosted by GLIAC member, Ferris State University. The 36 hole event, held at Katke Golf Club, saw teams from all over the region with national power, Grand Valley State, leading the way. The Lakers shot two sub 300 rounds to win the event by 20 strokes. Among G-MAC schools competing, Tiffin finished 3rd overall with a two day total of 616. Ashland was next, just edging Walsh, as they finished 7th and the Cavs 8th.
Next, the team will play at the William Beall Fall Classic, hosted by the #1 team in the country, the University of Findlay. The event will be held on 10/6 and 10/7 at Findlay Country Club.

FOR THE CAVS
- Sydney Hugo led the team finishing 13th individually. She shot 80 on day one and came back on day two firing a +1, 73. Her round of 73 bumped her up 16 spots on the leaderboard as she had four birdies.
- Sophia Rosa scored next for the Maroon and Gold with rounds of 78 and 80.
