(CANTON, Ohio) - Walsh (10-10, 3-6) lost its sixth straight match, 5-4, to Tiffin University (13-9, 6-3) in a GLIAC match that lasted close to six hours and 30 minutes. The Cavs play their final two regular season matches in Michigan next weekend, playing at Northwood University on Friday, and at Wayne State on Saturday.

Walsh won two of three doubles matches, with Carlos Jaque (So., Chijuayante, Concepcion, Chile/Lycee Charles de Gaulle) and Iagos Lucca (Fr., Caxias du Sul/Brazil/Colegio La Salle Caxias) winning 8-5 at first doubles, and Louis Thomas (Sr., Canton, OH/Jackson) and Pablo Cabezon (So., Santander, Cantabria, Spain/Calasanz Collegue) winning 8-6 at third doubles.

The Dragons would take four of six singles matches to win the marathon match. Cabezon posted a 1-6, 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 victory at first singles, and Jaque won 6-3, 6-1 at third singles.
