(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – The Walsh men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season to a talented Edinboro squad by a score of 6-2 in regional action at the Klekotka Tennis Courts Wednesday afternoon. The Cavaliers drop to 1-1 while the Fighting Scots remained unbeaten at 3-0.

The Cavaliers' two points came in singles action as Tom Davin Rohling and Rodrigo Garcia scored wins at the fourth and fifth spots. Rohling defeated Daniel Fernandez 1-6, 7-5, 10-8 while Garcia had an easier time with Kolja Hein with a pair of 6-2 set decisions.

The final match, No. 6 singles, was called due to darkness.

Walsh now hits the road to Greenwood, Ind., for the annual ITA regional tournament. The event will start Friday and run through Sunday.
