Box Score (NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – The Walsh men's lacrosse team hung with Lake Erie for a majority of the game, but were upended by the Storm 8-1 in G-MAC action on a chilly Tuesday evening. The Cavaliers (1-6, 1-2) were tied with the Storm (3-4, 2-0) 1-1 at the half, but the visitors tallied three in the third and four more in the fourth for the win.
The Cavaliers' lone score game with 2:32 in the second quarter when Alex Hudgens found the back of the net on an assist from Frank Savena during a man-up opportunity.
Dylan Ciolino did well between the pipes as he made eight saves on 37 shots faced. Elsewhere on the defensive end Jake Selvage picked up four ground balls.
The Cavs are off until Saturday when they host Wheeling Jesuit. Face-off with the Cardinals is set for 1 p.m.
