Men's Lacrosse Defeated By Seton Hill

Box Score

(GREENSBURG, Pa.) – Walsh fell to Seton Hill in G-MAC men's lacrosse action by a score of 9-3 at Dick's Field on Tuesday afternoon. The Cavaliers (1-10, 1-3) were limited on offensive opportunities as the Griffins (6-4, 3-2) shut them out for the first half.

Even so, Walsh's defense remained strong and kept the Griffin offense at bay and trailed only 4-0 at the half. The Cavs came out and scored the first goal of the second half as Alex Hudgens found the back of the net just over four minutes into the third. After Seton Hill answered, Hudgens scored a second goal with 1:39 remaining in the quarter.

Bryan Crim added the final goal for the Maroon and Gold in the fourth.

Defensively Dylan Ciolino made nine saves on 32 shots faced. He added four ground balls. Mark Guzik led that department with a game-high six.

Walsh will end its three-game road game stretch at Cleveland State on Saturday. Face-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
