NORTH CANTON, Ohio - After a season-high six goals against Alderson Broaddus on Thursday (Oct. 10), the Walsh Cavaliers men's soccer team was shutout by the Ohio Valley Fighting Scots 3-0 at Milazzo Field on a chilly Saturday (Oct. 12) night. 

Ohio Valley took a 1-0 lead just before halftime on a ball that squeaked past the left goalpost. 

Nicolas Rodriguez scored two goals in the 71st minute and the 82nd minute as the Fighting Scots won 3-0. 

Walsh took nine shots in the game, five in the first half and four in the second half. 

Ethan Burawa made seven saves in the goal. 

Walsh looks to rebound as they start a four-game road swing in Kentucky on Thursday (Oct. 17). Kickoff against the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers is at 6:00 PM Eastern.
