DETROIT, Mich. - The Walsh University men's tennis team ended the roadtrip in the state of Michigan with a stop in Detroit on Tuesday (Feb. 19). The Cavaliers battled the Warriors of Wayne State University in a non-conference matchup.
The Warriors won 7-0 as the Cavaliers have dropped two straight matches.
Wayne State swept all three doubles matches with Clemens Wagner and Filipp Kulynych giving a fight in the second doubles match. The pair ultimately fell 7-5.
Walsh fell in the six singles matches as Wayne State won all seven possible points.
The Cavaliers will travel to Lewis University on Saturday (Feb. 23) as the non-conference slate continues.
