CHARLESTON, WV- The Walsh University Men's Soccer team fell just short to the #9 ranked Fighting Scots of Ohio Valley today. 

SCORE: Walsh 2, Ohio Valley 3

LOCATION: Charleston, WV( Schoenbaum Field)

RECORDS: Walsh 1-3-1, Ohio Valley 3-0-1

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Fighting Scots were the first to put numbers up on the scoredbard with the first 2 goals of the day. The Cavs would answer the Fighting Scots with a goal by Steven Taylor at the start of the second half. An offensive effort by the Walsh team would help with Cavs tie things up 2-2. Another goal for OVU would leave the Cavaliers fighting to redeem themselves. Their attempts would fall short and the Cavs walk away with the 2-3 loss.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:

• Steven Taylor scored first for the Cavaliers with his unassisted goal
• The Cavs offensive team would score goal #2 for the Maroon and Gold
• Ethan Burawa tallied 3 saves from 6 SOG

FOR THE FIGHTING SCOTS:

• Juan Hoyos, Aritz Uriarte and Benjamin Grelet-Constantini each tallied 1 goal for the Fighting Scots
• Vincente Forment and Diego Silva contributed 1 assist each 

The Maroon and Gold continue conference play April 1st as they travel to Tiffin to take on the Dragons.
