GREENSBURG, PA- The Walsh Men's Lacrosse team lost their third game of the season Saturday (March 6th) to the nationally-ranked (#3) Seton Hill University Griffins.  The Griffins outscored the Cavaliers 21-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Seton Hill University outscored Walsh in all four quarters.  The Cavaliers cut the lead to one with an early goal by freshman Colby Bowman.  The Griffins answered by score four straight goals, extending their lead to 6-1.  Walsh was unable to keep up with the Seton Hill's explosive offense, as they outscored the Cavs 11-2 in the second half. 

FOR THE CAVALIERS

• Colby Bowman led Walsh with two goals.
• Kyle Lacey grabbed a team-high five ground balls.
• Kevin McMahon, Sully Dowling, and Preston Coffman all contibuted one goal apiece.
• Patrick Cuddihy recorded 17 saves on the day.
• Kyle Lacey and Gabe Brown both caused three turnovers on the day, a team-high.

FOR THE GRIFFINS

• Ryan Manbeck led all-scorers with six goals.
• Logan Gray tallied 15 groundballs in the game.
• Both Ryan Manbeck and Logan Maloni totaled eight points on the day.

BEHIND THE NUMBERS

• The Cavaliers attempted 21 shots with 14 shots on goal.
• Walsh created nine total turnovers.
