Box Score ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- The Cavaliers recorded their fourth win of the season Saturday (April 17th) at Molloy College. Walsh outscored Molloy by a score of 12-9.

The Molloy College Lions jumped to a 4-0 start in the first quarter of play. #44 Kevin McMahon answered with an unassisted goal to put Walsh on the board. The Cavaliers went on to score three straight goals to make the score 4-4 at the end of the first. Brent Mitchell and Evan Bradley scored for the Cavs, along with Kevin McMahon in his second goal of the contest.
Sully Dowling scored Walsh's fifth goal of the game with assist by Evan Bradley. A Molloy goal late in the second quarter would tie the game 5-5 at the half.
The Cavalier offense came out hot in the second half with Brent Mitchell and Sully Dowling both adding their second goals of the game. Up 7-5, Molloy's Jack Egan cut the Walsh lead to one with a goal at the nine minute mark in the third quarter. McMahon recorded his third goal late in the quarter to put the Cavaliers up 8-6.
Walsh's offense proved too much for Molloy to handle in the fourth quarter. The Cavaliers outscored the Lions 4-3 in the final quarter to make the score 12-9. Roman Smoot, Sully Dowling, Brent Mitchell, and Marcus Brown combined for the final four goals of the game. A strong defensive stance was held by Walsh that allowed Molloy to only score three goals in the final 15 minutes of play.
Goalie Patrick Cuddihy tabbed 12 saves and the Walsh defense forced Molloy to 12 turnovers on the day.
