Box Score Wheeling, WV- The Walsh Cavaliers tabbed their fifth win of the season Saturday (April 14th) as they defeated Wheeling University by a score of 21-4. 12 different Cavaliers contributed to the final score.

Walsh started off hot as they scored 11 straight goals, while allowing the Cardinals to score none. Senior Kevin McMahon led the offensive charge with four goals. Colby Bowman followed with three goals in the half. Sully Dowling, Brent Mitchell, Evan Bradley, and Marcus Brown each contributed to the 11-0 run.
Goalie Patrick Cuddihy was a defensive force for the Cavs as he saved all three shot attempts for the first half of the game.
Patrick Finger remained in the goal for the second half of the game where he saved 6-10 shots on goal.
The Cavaliers remained dominant on offense as they went on to score four straight goals to start the third quarter.
Wheeling's Braiden Struss put the Cardinals on the board for the first time of the game to make the score 15-1.
Walsh's offense proved too much for Wheeling to handle as they scored an additional six goals for a total of 21.
