FINDLAY, OHIO- The Women's Cross Country team wrapped up their regular season in Findlay on Saturday at the Great Midwest Championships. The Cavaliers finished third overall in the 6k race with a total team run time of 1:53.24. Four Cavaliers earned Second Team All-Conference honors after Saturday's race.
Junior, Bridget Hahn, was the first to cross the finish line for the Cavaliers. Hahn clocked a finish time of 22:20.1 and finished in 11th place overall and which earned her second team all-conference honors. Hahn was also the recipient of this year's Great Midwest Elite 26 award. The prestigious award is given to the student-athlete competing in the championship field with the highest overall GPA. Hahn currently has a 4.0 GPA and is pursuing degrees in Theology & Accounting.Â
Also earning second team honors for the maroon and gold were Teja Young, and freshmen Elly Heine and Claire Rethman. Young finished in 13th place and clocked a time of 22:24.5. Elly Heine crossed the finish line with a time of 22:30.6 and finished in 16th place. Claire Rethman rounded out the Cavaliers to place in the top 20. Rethamn posted a time of 22:39.8 for a 20th place finish.Â
