Box Score ELKINS, West Virginia - The Walsh Cavaliers men's lacrosse team battled the Davis & Elkins Senators in a Great Midwest contest on Saturday (April 9) that started in Spring and ended in Winter.
In a rainy and later snowy affair, the Cavaliers scored nine first half goals in a 15-5 win over the Senators. Walsh is now 3-6 on the year and 2-1 in the G-MAC. The Cavaliers used a 9-0 run spanning 27 minutes across the first through third quarters.
Walsh had a variety of goal scorers in the game as 12 different players found the back of the net. Only a pair of the scorers were multi-goal scorers for Walsh. Colby Bowman tallied three goals with one assist while Sully Dowling had two goals with one assist.

I. Stertz was the only player to have multiple assists.
Walsh totaled 23 groundballs in the game with ten of them coming from Joseph Rush, who won 14-of-18 faceoffs. Munoz and Calvin Cheney both had three groundballs of their own.
On top of his goal, Singer led the Cavalier defense with two caused turnovers.
Patrick Cuddihy made seven saves in over 47 minutes in the goal. Alex Movshin tallied two saves in 12:30 of action.
Walsh continues Great Midwest play in Painesville, Ohio on Tuesday (April 12) at 7:00 PM against the Lake Erie Storm.
