CANTON, OH: It was a dreary day for the Great Midwest Championship Meet on Saturday. The Cavaliers had a quick trip down Market Ave. as Malone University hosted the race at Pioneer Park. The team had a very strong showing as they placed 2nd out of 14 teams with a score of 70 points. Pacing the Maroon and Gold was Camryn Barker who finished 6th with a time of 22:42.7. Winning the G-MAC Championship was Cedarville University scoring 24 points. They had five runners finish in the top 10.

The Cavaliers will look to the NCAA Regional Meet in Evansville, IN on November 4th.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Camryn Barker placed 6th individually. She also earned All-Conference First Team. 
• Pyper Gibson, Teja Young, Alyssa Stoner, and Bailey Menegay earned All-Conference Second Team. 
• Pyper Gibson placed 13th with a time of 23:02.2
• Young, Stoner, and Menegay finished 16th, 17th, and 18th, respectively.
