HILLSDALE, MI, ALLIANCE, OH, and KENT, OH: Despite being quite spread out this weekend, the Cavs had some amazing performances over the weekend. With many repeat top finishes by many athletes, the team is starting to really hit its stride. Kya Epps, Julie White, and Claire Martin stand out in their performances for a dominant run on the women's side. On the men's side, Micah Gremling, O'Rhen Martin, and Dominic Nutter continue to compete at a high level.

On February 2nd and 3rd, the Track and Field team look to compete at the 3rd Jud Logan Light Giver Open at Ashland University! 

FOR THE CAVS AT HILLSDALE:

· Kya Epps- Finished 1st in the 60m, 200m, and the 4x400m. Her times were 7.68s, 25.37s, and 4:14.49. She is currently ranked 11th in the 60m and 18th in the 200m nationally!

· Claire Martin- Finished 1st in the Long Jump and 4th in the 60m. Her distance was 5.30m or 17' 4.75". Her time for the 60m was 8.04s.

· Julie White- Finished 1st in the 4x400m and 2nd in the 400m. Her times were 4:14.49 and 1:02.22.

· Julia Walsh- Finished 1st in the 4x400m. The time was 4:14.49.

· Talia McLin- Finished 1st in the 4x400m. The time was 4:14.49.

· Mackenzie Cutlip- Finished 3rd in the Long Jump. Her distance was 4.99m or 16' 4.5"

· Toni Denmark- Finished 5th in the Long Jump. Her distance was 4.77m or 15' 7.75"

· Tatum Miller- Finished 4th in the Shot Put. Her distance was 12.14m or 39'10".

· Micah Gremling- Finished 1st in the 60m and 200m. His times were 6.85s and 22.58s.

· O'Rhen Martin- PR'd and finished 3rd in the 60m Hurdles. His time was 8.94s

· Max McVicker- Finished 4th in the 60m Hurdles. His time was 9.13s

· Joel Brown- Finished 5th in the Pole Vault. His height was 3.71m or 12' 2"

· Oakley Kemp- Finished 4th in the Long Jump. His distance was 6.10m or 20' 0.25"

· Brant Herman- Finished 1st in the Shot Put. His distance was 13.93m or 45' 8.5"

· Colton Ferrucci- Finished 3rd in the Shot Put. His distance was 12.88m or 42' 3.25"

FOR THE CAVS AT MOUNT UNION:

· Cameron Beverly- Finished 3rd in the High Jump. His height was 1.92m or 6' 3.5"

FOR THE CAVS AT KENT:

· Xavier Foehl- Finished 3rd in the Mile. His time was 4:19.90

· Dominic Nutter- PR'd and finished 1st in the Weight Throw. His distance was 20.62m or 67' 8". He is currently 4th in the Weight Throw nationally!

· Colton Ferrucci- Finished 3rd in the Weight Throw. His distance was 18.14m or 59' 6.25"
