CLINTON, PA: The first Cross Country race of the season was early on Friday morning as the Cavs took the starting line for the 2025 campaign. Both programs, who were ranked 21st in the USTFCCCA preseason rankings, raced at the RMU Colonial Invite. Against competition in both D1 and D1, Walsh showed up strong with individual champions and strong team finishes.
Leading the Women to a 2nd place team finish was
Claire Rethman as she finished as race individual Champion. Leading the Men to a 3rd place team finish, also earning individual champion honors was
Xavier Foehl. Rethman ran a time of 19:54.0 and Foehl ran a 24:27.3.
On September 27th, both teams will head to Lock Haven, PA for the Lock Haven Invitational.
