NORTH CANTON, OH: After successful outdoor seasons, Joel Brown and Tatum Miller are heading to Emporia, Kansas to compete at the NCAA Division Two National Championship Meet! This qualification from both Cavs comes off of Indoor Nationals experience this past March. 

Joel Brown has been a shoe in since his strong performance at the SU Outdoor River Hawk Multi in the Decathlon. He scored 7077 points which was a new school record. He heads to Emporia ranked 9th in DII. 

Tatum Miller just recently clinched her spot after a key performance at the Harrison Dillard Twilight at Baldwin Wallace in the Hammer. Her mark of 55.70m was good for 19th in the division. 

Both Joel and Tatum will look to take their experience from the Indoor National Championships to propel their performances next week. At the Indoor Championships, Brown finished National Runner Up in the Heptathlon earning First Team All-American. Miller finished 12th in the Weight Throw earning Second Team All-American. 

The NCAA DII National Championship will take place May 21st - 23rd!
