(OBERLIN, Ohio) Walsh (4-1) dropped its first match of the season, 5-4, to Oberlin College (1-1) at Hunsinger Courts today.

Walsh lost two of three doubles matches, with Vasiliy Vidmanov and Carlos Jaque posting the only win, 9-7, at second doubles.

Vidmanov got the Cavs on track in singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win at first singles. Jague then Cavs Walsh a 3-2 lead with a 6-4, 6-1 win at fourth singles.

Oberlin evened the match with a win at fifth singles. Walsh then took a 4-3 lead as Pablo Cabezon won 6-4, 6-4 at second singles.

Oberlin would prevail however, by posting wins at number six the number two  singles to win the match.
