(CLERMONT, Fla.) - Walsh (7-3) split games with Felician College and Quincy University at the Dot Richardson Games at Hancock Field in Clermont, Florida today. The Cavs fell to Felician 7-2, but gained the split with a 2-0 win over Quincy.

Felician's Ciera Clark was the star of game one with a grand slam and five RBI. With Felician leading 3-0 in the fourth, she slugged a grand slam to put the game out of reach. Chelsy Testa (Sr., Uniontown, OH/Lake) had two of Walsh's four hits. Marissa Bondoni (So., Alliance, OH/HS) took her first loss of the year (2-1).

Casi Rohr (Jr., Massillon, OH/Perry/Toledo) pitched a three-hit shutout in the nightcap. Rohr (4-1) fanned seven and did not walk a batter. Walsh scored single runs in the first, second and fifth innings. Eryn Simon (Sr., Oregon, OH/Clay) double a run home in the first inning. Anna Fach drew a bases loaded walk in the second inning to give Walsh a 2-0 lead, and Abby Reusser (Fr., Orrville, OH/HS) singled home the final run in the fifth.

The Cavs meet Gannon University at 1 pm tomorrow, and West Virginia Wesleyan at 3 pm.
