(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Walsh (20-11) remained red-hot with double header sweep of Davis & Elkins (9-22) today by the scores of 1-0 (8) and 5-1. The Cavs are home tomorrow for a GLIAC double header with Ashland University at 3:30 pm. The Cavs have won their last five games and nine of their last ten.

Walsh won the opener 1-0 in eight innings, as Casi Rohr (Jr., Massillon, OH/Perry/Toledo) went the distance to improve to 11-7. She allowed only a fifth inning single, did not walk a batter and fanned 12. Walsh scored the games' only when a Chelsy Testa (Sr., Uniontown, OH/Lake) bunt scored Nikki Newman (Fr., North Royalton, OH/HS) with the winning run.

The Cavs scored two runs in the first and third innings in winning the nightcap 5-1. Quartni Whited (Fr., Akron, OH/Springfield) pitched a complete game to win her third game of the season. D & E committed three errors, which led to four unearned runs for the Cavs. Eryn Simon (Sr., Oregon, OH/Clay) went 3-3 for the Cavs, and Presley Destro (Jr., Mogadore, OH/HS/Catawba) had two hits.
