Box Score (FINDLAY, Ohio) - Top-seeded Ohio Dominican University (27-26) ousted Walsh (29-19) 7-1 in an elimination game at the GLIAC Tournament this morning.
The Panthers scored two unearned runs in the second inning to take a 2-0 lead. They would add single runs in the third and fourth innings, and put the game away with three runs in the fifth. Four of the Panthers seven runs were unearned.
Walsh starter Casi Rohr (Jr., Massillon, OH/Perry/Toledo) started and was charged with the loss. She finishes the season 17-12.
Walsh managed just six hits, and tallied their only run on a solo homer by Anna Anderson (So., Wadsworth, OH/HS) in the seventh. Anderson went 2-3. The Cavs had two runners on with two outs in the first inning, but failed to score. It was their only early threat.
