Box Score 1 (COLUMBUS, Ohio) - Walsh (16-7, 11-4) scored in six runs in the first three innings in taking game one 9-0 from Ohio Dominican University (7-31, 3-13) behind the one-hit pitching of Casi Rohr (Sr., Massillon, OH / Perry).
Marissa Bondoni's (Jr., Alliance, OH / HS) sacrifice fly scored Sam Troxell (Sr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH / HS) with the games' first run. Jenna Head (So., Mantua, OH / Crestwood) gave Walsh a 3-0 when she doubled home Bondoni to start the four-run third inning. Head then scored on Annie Woolf's (Fr., Louisville, OH /HS) sacrifice fly.
Reagan Rito (So., Beloit, OH / West Branch) tripled home the fifth run, and then scored on a single from Abby Reusser (So., Orrville, OH / HS). The Cavs added three more runs in the sixth, two on Woolf's double to right. Rohr won her 11th game in tossing her 13th complete game of the season. The right-hander fanned 10 allowed and only a fourth inning single.
In Game 2, the Cavs used a four-run fourth inning to come from behind and beat the Panthers.
Rito scored after a throwing error by the pitcher on a bunt by Troxell. Rohr Troxell scored in the next at-bat as Nikki Newman (So, North Royalton, OH/HS) doubled to right for a pair of RBI. Kendra Moore (So., North Ridgeville, OH/HS) brought in Newman on a double to left for the Cavs' final run.
Rohr picked up the win in the night cap as well as she pitched five frames in relief She's now 12-5 on the season. She gave up just one run, unearned, on four hits and struck out seven against two walks during her work in the circle.
Walsh returns home for Senior Day tomorrow in an important conference twin bill against Ashland. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
