(TIFFIN, Ohio) Walsh (19-14, 13-10) lost both ends of GLIAC double header at Tiffin Universitiy (22-18, 12-9) by the scores of 3-2 (8 inn.) and 5-3. The Cavs close the regular season this weekend at Malone Universitiy with a GLIAC double header on Saturday (1 pm), and then complete a suspended game from April 3 against Lake Superior State on Sunday at 11am. Walsh leads LSSU 8-5 in the second inning.

Tiffin scored an unearned run in the bottom of the eighth inning to win the opener 3-2 in eight innings. A Walsh error, and passed ball led to the defeat. Casi Rohr (Sr., Massillon, OH / Perry) went the distance in defeat to fall to 14-8. Walsh managed just five hits.

The Cavs lost a heartbreaker in the nightcap when the Dragons scored five runs, four unearned, for the 5-3 win. Jenna Head (So., Mantua, OH / Crestwood) gave the Cavs a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning with a solo homerun, her team-leading sixth of the season.

Two Walsh errors, a wild pitch and four Tiffin hits led to the five-run seventh inning. Walsh answered with a run scoring double from Riley Kiesling (Jr., North Canton, OH / Hoover) and Nikki Newman's (So., North Royalton, OH / HS) RBI single, but Head lined into a double play to end the game.

Olivia Pifer (Fr.,Loveland, OH / HS) sailed through the first six innings, but falls to 3-3.
